Chinese Factory Produce Silicone Resin Performance Comparable to SILRES HP 2000.
Dec 5, 2024
Product Name: Silicone Resin
Item No.: SilibaseSR-HP2000
Description:
SilibaseSR-HP2000 is silibase silicone produce silicone resin. It is substitute for SILRES HP 2000 silicone resin.
Epoxy coatings combine excellent adhesion-strength and chemical resistance with outstanding corrosionprotection. However, their resistance to sunlight has been inadequate so far.
In outdoor applications, the UV component of sunlight damages the film and causes severe chalking. But now a solution is available: SilibaseSR-HP2000 imparts unique weathering stability to epoxy coatings.
An Amine Modified Silicone Curing Agent Analogue for SILRES HP 2000 Silicone Resin. SilibaseSR-HP2000 is an amine modified silicone curing agent with excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties, and high transparency. It can be cross-linked and cured with hydrogenated bisphenol A type epoxy resin and bisphenol A type epoxy resin under room temperature conditions. After curing, the coating can completely defend against solvent corrosive solvents such as 2-butanone, long-term gloss retention, extremely high surface hardness, and low VOC values. It can be used as a high temperature and weather resistant epoxy adhesive, as well as as an intermediate/topcoat for composite coatings.
Advantages
high hardness silicone resin Similar to SILRES HP 2000.Epoxy-polysiloxane coatings based on SilibaseSR-HP2000 are characterized by very high hardness, excellent long-term gloss stability, excellent solvent resistance and low VOC values1. Depending on the desired viscosity, typical coating formulations contain only 100 -250 g VOC/liter.They combine the advantages of conventional epoxy coatings with the known weathering stability of isocyanate-curing PUR top coats2 in a one-coat lacquer.
Feature
Offset of SILRES HP 2000 with high degree of cross linking silicone resin.
SilibaseSR-HP2000 Cures Even at Room Temperature .
SilibaseSR-HP2000 is an amino-functional silicone resin. The amino groups linked to the silicone resin viasilicon-carbon bonds both catalyze the condensation of silicon-alkoxy groups and act as reactive curing groups. Even at room temperature, they react with the epoxide groups of epoxy resins to form a high-molecular coating film. The cured coating is completely resistant to strong solvents such as 2-butanone (methyl ethyl ketone, MEK) which proves the high degree of cross linking that can be achieved by using SilibaseSR-HP2000.

Application
Chinese Factory Supply epoxy-polysiloxane coatings Replacement product for SILRES HP 2000.SilibaseSR-HP2000 replaces the organic curing agent (e.g. polyamine) in twocomponent epoxy coatings. Cycloaliphatic epoxy resins are particularly suitable as epoxy components of the pigmented coating base. Pigments (inorganic or organic types), extenders, additives, solvents should be added to the paint base. The products are known as epoxypolysiloxane coatings (or organo silicone hybrid coating in general).
Silicone-resin-based curing agent for epoxy-polysiloxane coatings applied as corrosion protection to steel structures either as a topcoat or a combined intermediate coat/topcoat.
Packaging: Airtight plastic bucket.
Precautions for storage and transportation:
Stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse below 35℃, sealed, and used as soon as possible after opening. gel will appear after long-term contact with water in the air. Avoid contact with acid and alkali water, and keep away from kindling and heat sources. There shall be a fire protection equipment level fire passage, which shall be loaded and unloaded lightly during transportation. According to the storage and transportation of dangerous goods.
